Over the last few months, around eighty professionals have taken part in specialised training in artificial intelligence organised by our partner, the University of Oviedo, as part of the activities promoted by Asturias Digital Innovation Hub.
This cycle, consisting of four courses, allowed students to delve into a wide range of aspects of AI that are essential for driving the digitalisation of Asturian companies.
Four courses on artificial intelligence covering visualisation techniques, optimisation and supervised learning
The first course focused on visualisation techniques for data exploitation. Participants learned how to use different tools and techniques to transform data into images, thereby converting it into clear and easy-to-understand information.
After this initial introduction, it was time for supervised learning, one of the most important branches of machine learning, which participants explored through practical examples and case studies.
The training continued with semi-supervised and unsupervised learning and anomaly detection. These topics gave way to optimisation, as combinatorial optimisation and constraint satisfaction problems arise in many productive sectors and their solution usually requires a high degree of specialisation.
With the aim of training professionals, during the course, professors from the University of Oviedo also provided some artificial intelligence techniques for resolving these setbacks and showed some examples of their application.
