Tekox, wireless solutions for a smart industry

Tekox is an Asturian company that has been manufacturing low-voltage electrical connectors for more than half a century. This company is a leader in the Spanish market, exports to more than fifty countries, and aims to become an increasingly smart industry.

To achieve this, it joined forces with our partner CTIC Technology Center within the framework of AsDIH.

WHAT PROBLEMS IS IT LOOKING TO SOLVE OR IMPROVE?

This company used fixed workstations with desktop computers, which meant that operators had to constantly move from their workstations to the computers to monitor production.

WHAT DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY IS USED TO ADDRESS THE PROBLEM?

Together with CTIC, they decided to implement wireless solutions, which in the future could help the company incorporate artificial intelligence models to detect inefficiencies.

WHAT RESULTS DOES IT IMPLY, AND WHAT IMPACT DOES IT HAVE?

From now on, new avenues of work are opening up for Tekox, which will be able to continue advancing and consolidating itself as a smart industry.
